I’m glad you’re here! I’m Shawna, owner/creator of Graphically Speaking Design. Based in Northwest Iowa, Graphically Speaking Design started as a freelance design business specializing in custom wedding invitations and corporate advertising. After years of focusing on custom work, I followed my love of interior design and combined it with my graphic design skills to create home decor to inspire and encourage others. I am dedicated to designing pieces that are intentional and touch lives.
Along with designing home decor, I am also co-owner of Gathered Home Goods, an occasional home decor store offering one-of-a-kind furniture and home decor pieces. However, my greatest accomplishments and joys are being a wife of 28 years to an amazing man, a mom to two grown adult kids and now have the wonderful title of grandma to twin grand babies.
